While there were three of us artists assigned to illustration on this project, I was given a more directorial role in the art management. My charges were the mini-vehicles and base-mode specific areas, but I did add Easter eggs around the whole set and ensure our details for each ship were grounded in real-life technology, especially the Battleship. I crafted the screens in a 2000s-era skeuomorphic style homaging the ps2 Transformers Armada video game, but played from the perspective of Tidal Wave himself!
