Missing Link continues to give us an opportunity to update these iconic toys with more panache than ever. Just like with Optimus, I styled this set after the vintage look by imagining: what if Takara had the budget in the early 80s to add as much detail as they wanted but were limited only by the graphics technology of the time?
We also took the opportunity to create more synergy between the toys and the cartoon by giving Bumblebee his eyes and Cliffjumper his tailgater-defying glass gas gun!
We are also introducing a new collectable for Missing Link going forward: each character will now get a tech spec screen, compatible with Prime's trailer!
